Love has many different definitions. In my own opinion, love cannot be defined, but there are some definitions of love that can be found in the Corintheans and dictionary. In the Corintheans, love is defined as being truthful, caring, and hopeful. It also includes that people have to work to love each other and stay in love with each other. The dictionary defines love as an attration to someone, concern for another, or to strongly desire something or someone.
These two definitions of love seem very similar, but yet they contrast in many ways. The Corintheans mentions about being pacient and honest, but the dictionary doesn't include that. Additionally, the Corintheans include that love isn't something people brag about and it never fails. Unlike the Corintheans, the dictionary mentions that love is a and it may be a sexual attraction to someone or admiration to something. Also, love may be used as a verb, according to the dictionary, which it would then mean to take pleasure in or to feel attraction to something or someone.
I believe that the Corittheans defines love better than the dictionary. For one, the Corintheans has a much deeper meaning, and it includes plenty of information. The dictionary has a few vague phrases that define love. According to the dictionary, love is attraction to someone, but I believe it is more than an attraction and the Corintheans tries to explain the feeling of love. All in all, it is very dificult to define love because people may believe in love many different ways, but if I were to try to define love it would be similar to the definition provided by the Corintheans.
